If you didn't know, Puma named Hip-hop legend Jay-Z as the President of Basketball Operations for PUMA. This role will impact the sneaker industry by infiltrated the US market to capture market shares from Nike and Adidas.

Jay-z influence is key in which he will be able to sign future athletes to a multi-year contract as part of the basketball family that includes Walt Clyde Frazier, Deandre Ayton, and Marvin Bagley III. Also, during a special event at the PUMA Hoops HQ in Brooklyn, NY, Walt Clyde Frazier signed a lifetime contract with Puma that comes with 73 pairs of limited edition sneakers. This Puma and Jay-z partnership will expand the brand to new heights to gain more followers and street appeal. Fire!
