Kevin Durant Takes Jab at Under Armour

As Under Armour sales continue to diminish, the brand is facing an unprovoked opposition from a former MVP named Kevin Durant. He was in the podcast interview with Bill Simmons of The Ringer.

During the interview,  Kevin Durant mentions that sneaker companies have an influence on kids lives and most kids would rather be associated Nike because of brand recognition. The slander was a blatant attempt to marginalize Under Armour as a weaker brand even though the company offered him a 10-year contract in 2014 worth $250 million. But he decided to sign with Nike for a deal worth up to $300 million.
